So when you go for a run with someone you can listen to the same tunes at the same time. Or you can sit in a silent room with someone and still be listening to the same thing. On your headphones of course.

Extension: What if you could have your iPod sync to someone else's computer, so that when you're stuck on a plane or on public transit or whatever, you can watch something together without the neck cramping and headphone splitters.
