A collection of blogs.

Inspired by Ari's Brandcenter brief and Dave's comment. It would be nice if there was a group set up where we didn't actually have to post directly to this blog. For instance, everyone in here posts in their own blog, but they tag their post so that it would appear in this blog. So there's less management of blogs. To the Brandcenter thing, if the student/faculty/alums are a part of the group, the Brandcenter blog page would constantly update with the various people updating on their own blog. If that makes sense.

Makes sense to me. I think one of the challenges of having a Brandcenter blog is that a lot of students have their own blogs, and a Brandcenter blog will usually become an afterthought.

I wonder if there is a blog aggregation plug-in available to make indirect posting happen.

Twitter does this. You put a tag after a "#" and your post shows up both on your home page as well as on a topics page. For example, if you write #obama, your post will go on your page and on the Obama topics page. That'd be cool to extend it to blogs, and probably pretty easy if they were all on the same platform (blogger, wordpress, etc) but that'd be a crossroads there--everyone is already established on their own platform.

Blogger picks up blogs from other servers on my blogger reading list, so I don't think platform may possibly might be as big an issue.
