like rubbish bins but better. bins you put things you no longer want but think others might enjoy. this way people won't have to dig through your trash for the good stuff.
Freecycle's sort of annoying. Small items are only good for local drives. Going thirty minutes out of your way for a dartboard ain't for shit, and letting the dartboard clutter your house while you wait for someone to pick it up isn't worth the hassle. However, I live across from the Salvation Army, so people drop things off there every night, and I like to walk by and see if anything's worth taking. Not too much out of my way.
